Woman injured in St. Louis County collision seeks more than $25,000 from insurance company

ST. LOUIS – A Missouri resident is seeking more than $25,000 from her insurance company over an auto accident that occurred in St. Louis County.

Alisha Phillips filed a complaint on Jan. 8 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Progressive Casualty Insurance Co. citing uninsured motorist contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 4, 2018, she was involved in an automobile collision with a vehicle operated by Anita Cooper, an uninsured driver at or near the intersection of U.S. 61 and Monica Drive in St. Louis County. She alleges she suffered injuries to her head, neck, back and chest and incurred damages of more than $25,000. At the time of the accident, the suit states the policy issued by defendant to the plaintiff was in full force and effect. 

The plaintiff seeks monetary damages of more than $25,000, plus costs and all other relief that is just and reasonable. She is represented by Kyle Kleefus of Law Offices of Derald L. Gab PC in St. Louis.
