ST. LOUIS – St. Louis woman alleges she was wrongfully terminated by a staffing agency.

Kimberly Goldstone filed a complaint on Jan. 8 in the St. Louis 21st Judicial Circuit Court against Robert Half Corp., et al., alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was hired by the defendant as a marketing professional and vice president in June 2016. She alleges the defendant was "sick and tired of having to pay" her for her skills and "conspired" a way to have her fired, the suit states. She alleges she was wrongfully terminated in September 2018 because of a "disgusting sexual rumor" about her and a younger man she was assigned to mentor.

The plaintiff holds Robert Half Corp., et al. responsible because the defendants allegedly defamatory statements damaged her reputation and failed to pay her for some of her work.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury, award for all damages, interest and all other relief that is just and proper. She is represented by Joseph A. Ott of Ott Law Firm in St. Louis.
