Bus passenger seeks more than $25,000 from Servpro Holding, others over St. Louis collision

ST. LOUIS – A bus passenger has filed a suit against several defendants over alleged injuries he sustained when the bus was struck on a St. Louis street.

Martinez Williamson filed a complaint on Jan. 17 in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against Servpro Holding Co. Inc., Buchholz and Matheny LLC, et al. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 23, 2014, he was a passenger in defendant Bi-State Development bus traveling south on Goodfellow Boulevard when the vehicle driven by defendant Ronzell Wilson, who was an employee of defendant Buchholz and Matheny and defendant Servpro, struck the bus. He alleges he sustained serious and painful injuries to his neck, shoulder, back and all the muscles, tendons and ligaments as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff holds Servpro Holding Co. Inc., et al. responsible because defendant Wilson allegedly failed keep a constant and careful lookout and failed to stop swerve or slacken speed to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against each defendant in an amount of more than $25,000, plus costs. He is represented by Zachary Borowiak of The Borowiak Law Firm LLC in St. Louis.
