Thompson Coburn issued the following announcement on Feb. 4.

Luminaries from the St. Louis business and civic community shared their insights at a special panel discussion during Thompson Coburn's 8th Annual Women's Networking Breakfast in St. Louis. The event is sponsored annually by the Thompson Coburn Total Commitment Women's Initiative.

This year's panelists were Yemi Akande-Bartsch, President and CEO of Focus St. Louis; Adrian Bracy, CEO of YWCA Metro St. Louis; Kathy Osborn, President and CEO of The Regional Business Council; and Ellen Sherberg, Special Advisor to the CEO of American City Business Journals and the former Publisher of St. Louis Business Journal.

Thompson Coburn public finance partner Debbie Rush led an in-depth discussion about the panelists' unique paths to leadership, their work as civic and community leaders in St. Louis, their approach to building professional networks, and their efforts to mentor women during all stages of their careers. The panel also talked about the numerous opportunities for women to get involved in civic and community organizations in the St. Louis region.

Nearly 200 professionals from around St. Louis attended the breakfast, held January 30 at the Frontenac Hilton.
