McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips issued the following announcement on Feb. 6.

At MVP’s Annual Shareholder Meeting on January 26th, shareholders elected Greg Goheen and Steve McManus to MVP's Board of Directors. Greg is part of the employment law practice group, focusing on employment law, school law and construction defect in the firm’s Kansas City office. Greg is the immediate past president of the Kansas Bar Association. Steve returns to the board, and currently serves as the firm’s Senior Vice President of Marketing. He focuses his practice in workers’ compensation defense in Missouri and Illinois, and he serves as the St. Louis office Managing Shareholder. Other members of the firm’s board of directors are: Chris Patt, Rachel Brown, Tom Walsh, Byron Bowles and Ryan Denk.

Shareholders MVP has elected one new shareholder and four new equity shareholders. The firm’s shareholders have elected Kristina Mulvany as a shareholder, and they have elected Aaron Elking, Joshua Mareschal, Kendra Oakes and Daniel Schmitz as equity shareholders. Aaron Elking specializes in workers’ compensation defense in Missouri and Illinois in the firm’s St. Louis office.

He received his Bachelors of Arts degree from Missouri University, Columbia and his Juris Doctorate from University of Missouri, Kansas City. Kendra Oakes specializes in workers’ compensation defense in Kansas and Missouri in the firm’s Kansas City office. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Nevada-Reno and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas. Josh Mareschal specializes in Torts Litigation defense in Missouri and Oklahoma in the firm’s Springfield, MO office. He received his Bachelors of Arts and Science degrees from Truman State University and his Juris Doctorate from University of Missouri, Columbia. Danny Schmitz specializes in workers’ compensation defense in Missouri and Illinois in the firm’s St. Louis office. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree from Missouri University, St. Louis and his Juris Doctorate from University of Missouri, Columbia. Kristina Mulvany specializes in workers’ compensation defense in Kansas and Missouri in the firm’s Kansas City office. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree from Saint Louis University and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
