ST. LOUIS – Two individuals are seeking damages from an O'Fallon, Illinois man over a collision at a St. Louis intersection.

Linda Turner and Ricco Harris filed a complaint on Feb. 13 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against Terry Thompson alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on March 24, 2018, they were in a motor vehicle traveling west on Washington Avenue and were stopped for traffic at its intersection with 4th Street in St. Louis when the defendant's truck collided with the rear of their vehicle. The plaintiffs allege they suffered personal injuries and incurred damages for medical expenses and lost wages as a result of the accident.

The plaintiffs hold Thompson responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to slacken speed or stop the truck to avoid colliding with plaintiffs' vehicle.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against defendant in a fair and reasonable amount greater than $25,000, plus costs. They are represented by Walter L. Floyd of The Floyd Law Firm PC in St. Louis.
