LEWIS BRISBOIS: Lewis Brisbois Strengthens Kansas City Commercial Litigation Practice With Two New Partners

Court room

Lewis Brisbois issued the following announcement on March 5.

Lewis Brisbois has boosted its Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice by bringing on seasoned litigators Leonard B. Rose and Greer S. Lang as partners in its Kansas City, Missouri office.

“We’re tremendously excited to have Leonard and Greer join us in Kansas City,” said Kansas City and Wichita Managing Partner Alan L. Rupe. “Their extensive commercial litigation experience is a major boost to our Business Practice Group services in the Midwest.”

Mr. Rose and Ms. Lang both join from Kansas City-based law firm Lathrop Gage. They bring a combined eight decades of experience in commercial law to the firm’s Business Practices Group, a large team within Lewis Brisbois composed of attorneys from the firm’s many commercially-aligned practice groups, such as antitrust & competition, bankruptcy & insolvency, franchise & distribution, intellectual property, and many other business-focused areas.

“Our business and commercial practices have been steadily growing all over the firm,” said Fort Lauderdale Partner Kenneth J. Joyce, who is also co-chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice. “Bringing such distinguished attorneys as Leonard and Greer to our Kansas City office really steps up the offering our team can provide to clients not only in Missouri and Kansas, but across the country. I’m looking forward to working with them.”
