Swanson Martin & Bell LLP issued the following announcement on March 28.
Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP partners David E. Kawala and John J. O'Sullivan have been named to BTI Consulting's Client Service All-Stars report for 2019.
Kawala and O'Sullivan are two of 335 individual attorneys from 153 law firms nominated to the BTI Client Service All-Stars 2019. All-Stars are identified by corporate counsel for being "unsurpassed in their delivery of client service," according to BTI.
Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP is one of 72 law firms to have two attorneys named to the list. In addition, Kawala and O'Sullivan are two of 34 Chicago attorneys to make the list.
According to BTI, Kawala was nominated by corporate counsel at a global manufacturing company. His practice focuses on defense of civil litigation, namely personal injury litigation, including construction and transportation professional negligence litigation, general liability litigation, product liability and chemical exposure liability matters.
O'Sullivan was nominated by corporate counsel at a large manufacturing company. He serves as national coordinating, national trial and local counsel for premises and products defendants in toxic tort and asbestos matters.
Per BTI's report, "Corporate counsel single out each attorney—by name and in an unprompted manner—as delivering the absolute best client service. No attorney or firm can self-nominate, self-refer, nor pay to be included in this report. Clients have the final—and only—say."
