HeplerBroom issued the following announcement on May 2.
Emily D. Roman has joined the firm’s St. Louis office as an associate attorney. She focuses her practice on the defense of civil litigation matters involving insurance law, personal injury, automobile accidents, and property damage. She is licensed to practice in Missouri.
Roman obtained her J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2016. During law school, she competed in several moot court competitions, earning 1st place and Best Brief at Regionals and 10th place at Nationals, as well as the Judge Robert G. Dowd, Sr., Appellate Advocacy Award in an Appellate Advocacy competition. She was Editor-in-Chief of Volume 60 of the Saint Louis University Law Journal and worked as a Judicial Extern for the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Prior to joining HeplerBroom, Roman was a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Angela Turner Quigless of the Eastern District of the Missouri Court of Appeals.
