Courtscalesgavel673

Husch Blackwell LLP recently issued the following announcement.

Issues in Higher Education Webinar Series

The healthcare and safety of collegiate student-athletes are among the highest areas of risk for colleges and universities. A recent interassociation report recommends that institutions of higher learning require programming aimed at supporting optimal health and safety of student-athletes. These guidelines frame best practices for any college or university athletic organization, including varsity and club sports.

This webinar will provide an update on the institutional requirements in these recommendations. The U.S. Council for Athletes' Health (USCAH) and Husch Blackwell will also introduce their cooperative effort to help institutions mitigate risk and be proactive in addressing the needs of athlete healthcare and safety. The program, Athletics Healthspace, will guide institutions in ongoing assessment, education and survey management that ensures compliance with the new interassociation recommendations. Join us for this important webinar, and learn more about transforming athletic healthcare and ensuring full compliance for your institution.
