HeplerBroom attorney Kyle Westbrook was a featured speaker at the inaugural Southeast Entrepreneurship & Economic Development Summit (SEEDS), which was held recently on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. He and a CPA discussed the business of cannabis in Missouri. Among other topics, the two discussed how existing conflicts between state and federal cannabis laws present challenges for businesses in an array of areas.
Westbrook, an associate in the firm’s St. Louis office, focuses his practice on trials involving complex business litigation matters, including cannabis law, toxic torts, and product liability. He has been named a Rising Star by Thomson Reuters’ Illinois Super Lawyers.
