Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli congratulates Chairman and CEO Chase Simmons for his inclusion in Missouri Lawyers Media’s 2020 Law Firm Leaders awards. Simmons is one of five executives recognized in the Law Firm Leaders category of the annual Missouri Lawyers Media’s “Missouri Lawyers Awards.”
Missouri Lawyers Media’s Law Firm Leaders recognizes chairpersons, managing partners or law firm executives who demonstrate extraordinary vision, innovation and leadership during the year. Simmons recently completed his first full year as Polsinelli’s Chairman and CEO, leading the firm through several changes, transitions and revenue success.
“Chase’s commitment to Polsinelli, through thoughtful intention and strategic initiatives, was evident in our firm’s many successes in 2019,” said Kansas City Co-Office Managing Partner Mary Jane Judy. “Chase has demonstrated action and leadership as our new leader, and kept us focused on priority practice areas throughout the year. We congratulate him on this deserving honor as a 2020 Law Firm Leader by Missouri Lawyers Media.”
Under Simmons’ leadership throughout 2019, Polsinelli celebrated 10 straight years of rising revenues; opened a Miami office, which accomplished the firm’s longstanding strategic goal of establishing offices in a financial center in every region of the country; and successfully transitioned from a first-generation firm to a new generation of leadership.
Other notable achievements under Simmons’ guidance in 2019 include the firm’s 13 percent increase in revenue, five percent increase in headcount and several key internal changes and promotions, including naming 31 new shareholders this November and elevating three new Department leaders in September.
“Chase’s commitment to our firm’s success and outstanding leadership, coupled with his passion for the legal industry and dedication to tremendous client success, are a few of many reasons why he is deserving of the Law Firm Leaders award,” said Kansas City Co-Office Managing Partner Greg Kratofil, Jr. “He has implemented change, new strategies and policies, and moved the needle both in terms of our firm’s financial success and growth, all in his first year as Chairman. Earlier this year, Simmons was named to the Kansas City Business Journal’s 2019 Best of the Bar in the real estate/construction category, and he remains listed in The Best Lawyers in America® and Chambers USA Tier 1 for Real Estate Law.
Simmons, along with 26 other accomplished awardees, will be recognized at the Missouri Lawyers Awards luncheon on Friday, Jan. 24, 2020 in Chesterfield, Mo.
