Shook Partner Jennifer Stevenson has been elected to serve as president of the Board of Directors for Kansas Legal Services for a two-year term. Stevenson previously served as a board member for two years before her appointment as president.
Kansas Legal Services is a statewide nonprofit that provides legal aid to the most vulnerable Kansans, helping meet their basic needs through the provision of important legal and mediation services. Last year, the nonprofit served more than 18,500 persons in all 105 counties through two mediation offices and eleven legal services offices across the state.
Stevenson, whose practice focuses on product liability defense for the pharmaceutical, personal care product and consumer goods sectors, has also served in other areas of the firm’s Pro Bono program.
