Shook, Hardy & Bacon L.L.P. issued the following announcement on April 15.
The University of Kansas (KU) School of Law has awarded Shook Chair Madeleine McDonough the 2020 Distinguished Alumni Award. McDonough is one of three honorees this year receiving the law school’s highest alumni honor. The award recognizes professional achievements, contributions to the legal field and service to community and the university.
McDonough was noted for her work at Shook, including recognition for innovative leadership and being a trailblazer and pioneer in litigation. McDonough is not only a graduate of KU School of Law, but also has an LL.M. in global health law from Georgetown University Law Center.
