Armstrong Teasdale LLP issued the following announcement on July 10.
Armstrong Teasdale Partner Travis Kearbey has been named leader of the firm’s Employment and Labor practice area. In this role, he will lead a team of dozens of esteemed attorneys and staff professionals across the country in counseling and defending our clients in a wide range of employment-related matters.
Travis has most recently played a significant role in counseling clients through the myriad employment challenges presented by COVID-19. He, alongside other firm attorneys, has contributed to more than 20 advisories since late February, guiding clients on everything from spring break plans to the Payroll Protection Program (PPP).
The role is reflective of Travis’ extensive experience, which includes more than a decade of counseling clients in litigation, business transactions and labor law. His employment counseling and litigation experience arises from work with clients across many industries, including manufacturing, hospitality and professional services. He also has experience representing numerous clients in the education sector, ranging from elementary and secondary schools in Missouri to colleges and universities with campuses around the globe.
Travis takes on the role from Partner Daniel O’Toole, who led the practice for 13 years. Dan, a respected leader and trial strategist, will continue to be a significant contributor and trusted counselor to firm clients.
