Greensfelder is now partnering with Homethrive, a family elder care coordinator, to offer all of its employees a fully covered family caregiver service benefit as part of the firm’s broader benefits package.
The benefit is available to all employees across the firm’s St. Louis, Chicago, and Southern Illinois offices. Through Homethrive, the firm’s employees have individual access to Care Guides who provide bespoke coaching and concierge services for aging loved ones who live at home. Care Guides work with employees to learn about the loved one, identify opportunities and arrange third-party services, reducing employee stress and helping shoulder the burden of caregiving.
Offering a caregiver benefit builds upon the firm’s commitment to increased mental health offerings and overall support to employees through the Greensfelder Well-Being Program. In addition, the caregiver benefit builds on parental and remote work policies that help create an equitable, inclusive and supportive environment. The firm’s support programs for all stages of family life include a reintegration program for those on extended leave, parent mentoring services, counseling services and other benefits. The Homethrive partnership adds an important new dimension to those offerings.
