POLSINELLI PC: Polsinelli’s Denise Drake Named to Benchmark Litigation’s Top 250 Women in Litigation

Polsinelli PC issued the following announcement on Oct. 14.

Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli congratulates Labor and Employment Department Chair Denise Drake for her inclusion in Benchmark Litigation’s Top 250 Women in Litigation. The annual list recognizes the “most distinguished women in the world of litigation” based on client feedback, one-on-one interviews and peer recommendations.

According to Benchmark Litigation, “these women have earned their place amongst the leading female litigators by participating in some of the most impactful litigation matters in recent history as well as by earning the hard-won respect of their peers and clients.”

“Denise is not only the incredible leader of our labor and employment team, but she’s a tough litigator who has achieved great success in the courtroom on behalf of her clients,” said Polsinelli Chairman and CEO Chase Simmons. “We are proud of Denise for this outstanding achievement and are glad to see her achieve this recognition as a national leader in labor and employment law.”

In addition to her role as Chair of the Labor and Employment Department, Drake is known for her creative and practical approach to employment law issues, as well as her sincere interest in helping employers improve their workplaces, proactively avoid litigation, and strategically defend lawsuits. She also serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Employment Class & Collective Actions Practice and is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. Drake leads a team of 55 professionals and is responsible for the management of Polsinelli’s labor and employment team, developing strategies around hiring and growth initiatives, and overseeing the work product and outcomes that her group produces.
