Greensfelder Chief Diversity Officer Christopher A. Pickett will be recognized with a Missouri Lawyers Award for his service and leadership.
The Missouri Lawyers Awards, presented by Missouri Lawyers Media, annually recognize attorneys from across the state who have made an impact. Pickett is one of nine being recognized in the Law Firm Leaders category. Awards in that category honor “chairpersons, managing partners or other law firm executives who demonstrated extraordinary vision, innovation and leadership.”
A total of 27 attorneys and judges from across the state will be recognized at a virtual award ceremony Feb. 11 and profiled in a special section of Missouri Lawyers Weekly. A complete list of honorees can be found here, and it notes Pickett is being recognized for leading the firm’s “efforts to diversify the workplace and to recruit and retain diverse talent.”
Pickett is an officer in the firm’s Litigation practice group and is a co-leader of the Restrictive Covenants & Trade Secrets group. He is a member of the firm’s board of directors as well as chief diversity officer, leading efforts to foster an equitable and inclusive workplace. He is a frequent presenter to businesses, bar groups and other organizations on topics related to equity and inclusion, including dismantling assimilation and increasing diversity in the legal profession.
