Anna Lammert for the plaintiff

ST. LOUIS - A Lambert St. Louis Airport shuttle bus service faces charges in the St. Louis County Circuit Court after a bus crashed into a wall and caused injuries, according to documents filed on Jan. 29.

Plaintiff LaMonte Dallas was on a shuttle operated by an employee of defendant Avis Rent a Car System LLC on September 2 2018. According to the suit, the shuttle crashed into a wall in the airport's parking lot, and Dallas' body jolted forward, causing injuries to his right shoulder, arm, hand, ribs, back and neck.

Avis is charged with one count of negligence for failing to keep its passengers safe, and Dallas is requesting damages outside of the court's arbitration limit for his injuries and medical treatment.

Dallas is represented by Page Law LLC of St. Louis. The defendant removed the case to U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri on March 18.
