ST. LOUIS - Family Dollar and Shoe Warehouse St. Louis want to defend a personal injury claim against them in federal court.
The complaint was first filed in the St. Louis County Circuit Court and on April 12 was removed to federal court. Plaintiff Caterana Harlan says she was at the Family Dollar location owned by Shoe Warehouse at 7318 Olive Blvd. on January 30, 2019, when she slipped and fell on ice in the parking lot.
The defendants are charged with negligence, and Harlan seeks at least $25,000 in payback for her injuries sustained.
