ST. LOUIS - A Wright City woman wants payback from the United States after a Department of Homeland Security employee allegedly backed his work vehicle into hers at a red light.

The complaint was filed on April 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri by plaintiff Breanna Nicole Collins after DHS rejected her claim for damages.

Collins says she was stopped behind DHS employee Jeffery Allen Larson in his 2017 Ford Explorer at a red light on the intersection of S. Outer Rd. and Hwy. K. Collins alleges that Larson improperly backed his vehicle into hers, causing injury to her head, neck, back, chest and arms.

The plaintiff requests $26,897.99 in damages. She is represented by Robert M. West of Clayton.
