Armstrong Teasdale announces that Senior Associates Molly Ahmed and Corey A.-T. Stegeman have joined the firm’s Litigation practice. Ahmed sits in the firm’s London office, while Stegeman will work from both the St. Louis and Edwardsville offices. They add to the roster of more than 340 attorneys at Armstrong Teasdale throughout the U.S. and U.K.
Ahmed has extensive experience litigating a broad range of international commercial disputes. Her diverse background across service areas, including finance and banking, corporate, M&A, private equity, employment, technology and IP litigation, enables her to provide guidance in multifaceted, high-value commercial disputes, often across multiple jurisdictions. With nearly two decades of experience, Ahmed represents clients in matters involving corporate governance, fraud claims, shareholder and partnership disputes, High Court employment disputes, regulatory investigations, and corporate transactional claims. She also has experience in the financial services sector and in international arbitration, often assisting foreign law firms in obtaining and establishing evidence in English jurisdictions.
Stegeman has a range of experience in health care-related legal matters and regularly works with physicians and medical professionals across varying specialties, as well as hospitals, nursing homes, psychiatric treatment centers, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities. Focusing on medical malpractice defense, Stegeman has more than a decade of experience and extensive knowledge of the intricacies of cases involving medical procedures in highly specialized areas. He provides creative counsel, taking a detail-oriented and organized approach, with the goal of zealously defending his clients. This includes working to resolve legal issues quickly and efficiently and by partnering with his clients to develop the strongest defenses and case to present at trial with the aim of obtaining jury verdicts in their favor. Stegeman has also assisted professionals before state licensing boards and represented health care facilities faced with premises liability claims.
