As one of the nation’s leading coverage lawyers, Michael Young was asked recently for his answer to the question: “If I Knew Then What I Know Now.” His response, which was printed in a recent edition of the Coverage Opinions newsletter, centers on communication skills.
Young, a partner in the firm’s St. Louis office, focuses his practice on insurance coverage and bad faith issues. He also advises insurers on drafting policy language and developing best practices in handling claims. He is a Certified Litigation Management Professional and has been named to the list of Best Lawyers in America. Young currently serves on the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance’s Insurance Coverage and Extra-Contractual Committees and is a faculty member of its School of Extra-Contractual Claims. He is also on the Legislative Committee for the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers.
