ST. LOUIS -- A woman is suing after claiming to have suffered an injury after falling outside of a QuikTrip.
Elizabeth Marshall filed a complaint on May 18 in the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis against QuikTrip #636 and John Doe. The QuikTrip defendant removed the case to federal court on June 30.
According to the complaint, Marshall was exiting a QuikTrip store and outside the door, snow and ice covered the concrete walkway. The snow and ice had not been cleared, causing Marshall to alleged fall and suffer personal injury. Marshall alleges it was the negligence of the QuikTrip to properly clear the dangerous weather condition and secure safety for patrons that caused her to fall and hurt herself.
Marshall is represented by Thomas E. Fagan.
