ST. LOUIS - Victoria O'Connor filed a federal complaint on September 3 in the Eastern District of Missour against Target Corporation for premises liability and negligence.
According to the complaint, on Sept. 7, 2019, O'Connor was attempting to move a piece of carpeting on an overhead shelf when a portion of the metal shelving detached and struck her in the head, causing her injury.
Injuries included permanent damage to her head, face and brain, O'Conner alleges. She adds that she will continue to suffer in the future as a result of her injuries.
