Greensfelder has been recognized with a 2021 Cigna Well-Being Award for the firm’s commitment to improve the health and well-being of its employees through a workplace wellness program. The firm won the same distinction in 2020.
Each year, Cigna selects a group of organizations for Cigna Well-Being Award recognition to honor the difference they are making in the health and well-being of their employees. Cigna Well-Being Award applicants are evaluated based on the core components of their well-being programs, including leadership engagement, company culture, strategy and goals, implementation, and employee engagement. All applications are scored and reviewed by a panel of Cigna health promotion experts.
Greensfelder’s comprehensive Well-Being Program was awarded for its focus on the physical, financial, emotional and social health needs of employees. Opportunities the program has implemented for all employees have included yoga classes, meditation sessions, healthy food options, firmwide fitness challenges and educational presentations. Greensfelder’s Well-Being Program was launched in 2019 and is led by Human Resources Manager Jessie Fenton.
The St. Louis Business Journal also recently named Greensfelder on its Healthiest Employers list for 2021.
