Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Courtney Steelman of the firm’s Kansas City office has been named by Missouri Lawyers Media as a 2021 Up & Coming awardee.
Steelman, an associate, centers her practice on labor and employment law and business relations, with a particular focus over the last year on COVID-19 advice and policy. She previously served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Litigation Section of the Missouri Attorney General’s Office. Steelman earned her J.D. with honors from the University of Missouri School of Law, her LL.M in Dispute Resolution from the University of Missouri School of Law and her B.A. cum laude from Columbia College.
Missouri Lawyers Media’s annual Up & Coming Awards celebrate outstanding legal professionals who are 40 or younger or who are within their first 10 years of practice. This year’s honorees were honored at a September 29, 2021 event.
