The Board of Regents of the American College of Coverage Counsel (ACCC) has elected Michael Young one of its Fellows. ACCC Fellows are preeminent attorneys in the United States and Canada who are distinguished for their skill, experience, and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice or teaching of insurance coverage and extracontractual law. In addition, Fellows work to improve the civility and quality of the practice of insurance law.
Young, a partner in the firm’s St. Louis office, focuses his practice on insurance coverage and bad faith issues. He also advises insurers on drafting policy language and developing best practices in handling claims. He is a Certified Litigation Management Professional and has been named to the list of Best Lawyers in America. Young is a faculty member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance’s School of Extra-Contractual Claims, is Co-Chair of CLM’s Extra-Contractual Committee, and serves on its Insurance Coverage Committee. He is also on the Legislative Committee for the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers.
