Heplerbroom issued the following announcement on Jan. 13.
Chad S. Stockel has joined HeplerBroom as an associate attorney in the firm’s St. Louis office. Stockel focuses his practice on the defense of insurance coverage and bad faith litigation.
He obtained his J.D. with honors from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1999. He also holds a B.A. in Political Science from Truman State University. While in law school, he was the Notes Editor for the Journal of Transnational Law and Contemporary Problems.
Prior to joining HeplerBroom, he worked for over a decade as an attorney specializing in claims handling, alternative dispute resolution, trial supervision, and coverage analysis for a specialty transportation insurance company. He also has experience litigating bankruptcy, construction, contractual, family law, personal injury, and workers’ compensation matters before state and federal administrative, trial, and appellate courts
Stockel is licensed to practice in Missouri and is admitted to the bars of the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 8th and 9th Circuits.
