Armstrong Teasdale LLP issued the following announcement on Jan. 20.
Armstrong Teasdale proudly announces that Timothy Pyatt has been named Chief Information Officer. Pyatt, who has more than 25 years of experience in information technology, previously served as Director of Technology. He has long been active in firm management and serves on Armstrong Teasdale’s Operations and Technology Committees.
“Tim has built a strong reputation as a leader in IT for the legal industry, and we’re grateful to have the opportunity to leverage his deep skill set daily,” said Managing Partner Patrick Rasche. “In this role, Tim will continue to provide mission-critical, strategic guidance to the firm as it relates to IT, security and technology investment.”
Pyatt has a diverse technical background including application development, technical support, database administration, data analysis and information security. He oversees the strategic management of information technology assets for the firm and leads a team of more than 20 staff professionals firmwide.
He ensures the firm is well positioned in terms of capabilities and risk prevention, which includes determining how and where the firm should invest in new technology, and ensuring that confidential client data is secure and protected. He oversees IT functions for firm offices nationwide and leads a dynamic team of IT professionals and support staff. Pyatt has also been instrumental in managing the firm’s IT assets throughout the global pandemic, and leads the charge in implementing and integrating IT systems in new firm offices, including most recently in Miami, Florida, which the firm announced as its newest market earlier this week.
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale in 1998, he worked in health information systems in the St. Louis area.
