ST. LOUIS - Johnny White filed a federal lawsuit on Jan. 6 in the Missouri Eastern District Court against 7-Eleven, Inc. for ADA violations.

According to the lawsuit, White is a man with disabilities that cause him to use a wheelchair for mobility purposes. In December 2021, White attempted to but was deterred from patronizing, and/or gaining equal access as a disabled patron to the 7-Eleven located in Rock Hill, he says.

White claims that his access and/or full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages and/or accommodations offered therein were denied and/or limited because of his disabilities, and he will be denied and/or limited in the future unless 7-Eleven removes the physical barriers and becomes ADA compliant.

White seeks for the court to rule that 7-Eleven become ADA-compliant. White is represented by Michelle M. Funkenbusch.
