This is the third year that Opportunity Zone Magazine has recognized the industry's most powerful and influential Opportunity Zone professionals nationwide, and for the second year, the magazine has published the best of the best in a ranked Top 25 OZ Influencers category to showcase those who stand out among their peers.
Candidates were evaluated based on their vision, influence and industry experience, and the magazine has said that it hopes the influencers will serve as a resource for industry participants seeking counsel or professional services. Opportunity Zone Magazine also announced the winners in five other categories: attorneys, fund managers/developers, tax specialists, policy influencers and professionals in specialized fields.
Opportunity Zones promote long-term investments through the placement of highly tax advantaged capital gains. Maxwell, whose practice focuses on real estate and economic development projects, formed Polsinelli’s Opportunity Zones Practice Group. The Polsinelli Opportunity Zones Practice Group was one of the first created and through his leadership, Korb has created a multidisciplinary team to help clients navigate the evolving regulations. His focus is to develop and execute their investment and capital deployment strategies within the Opportunity Zones space across the nation.
