Polsinelli is pleased to announce that Kansas City Co-Office Managing Partner Mary Jane Judy and St. Louis Office Managing Partner and Health Care Alignment and Organizations Practice Chair Jane E. Arnold have been recognized with Transactional Practitioner Awards, as part of the elite Missouri Lawyers Weekly’s 2022 Women’s Justice Awards.
Judy and Arnold will be recognized on Thursday, May 12, during the annual Women’s Justice Awards dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel in St. Louis. The ceremony recognizes women in the legal profession, including judges, legal scholars and private practitioners.
The Polsinelli duo is among 51 female attorneys across Missouri selected for the Women’s Justice Awards. Since 1999, the awards have celebrated women whose exemplary skills help improve the quality of the overall justice system. The Transactional Practitioner Award recognizes attorneys who counsel companies, individuals and organizations on the legal issues generated by their business dealings or financial matters.
Mary Jane Judy
In addition to her role as Co-Managing Partner overseeing the firm’s largest office in Kansas City, Mo., Judy is an accomplished real estate shareholder who focuses her practice on complex real estate transactions. She leads teams of lawyers on large portfolio transactions, from dozens to hundreds of properties. She also advises health care clients on unique regulatory issues related to their real estate holdings. Judy is widely known for her civic engagement and community involvement as a longtime servant leader on behalf of numerous regional organizations such as the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and The National World War I Museum and Memorial.
Judy has been recognized for her superior legal abilities, having been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® for Real Estate Law since 2018; Kansas City Business Journal's "Women Who Mean Business" class; and named to “Rising Stars” by Kansas and Missouri Super Lawyers for four years.
Jane E. Arnold
In her 25-year legal career, Arnold has advised clients on more than $5 billion in transactions. She has led the deal teams for numerous healthcare technology and business services acquisitions for a significant private equity fund. Arnold’s leadership roles at Polsinelli position her among the top-ranking leaders among the firm’s 950 attorneys from coast to coast. She is a tireless advocate to affect and craft firmwide policies to promote the advancement and tenure of women in law. In fact, the role within the firm of which she is most proud is serving as the Chair of the Women’s Empowerment Committee.
Throughout her career, Arnold has been recognized by clients and industry organizations for her legal skills.
