Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) has named HeplerBroom’s Michael Young its Outside Defense Counsel Professional of the Year. Young was noted for his creative LinkedIn posts and Clubhouse podcast, which create a professional environment to share knowledge and support his members. The award was presented at CLM’s annual Awards Dinner, which this year was held on March 24 in Palm Springs, California.
Young, a partner in the firm’s St. Louis office, focuses his practice on insurance coverage and bad faith issues. He also advises insurers on drafting policy language and developing best practices in handling claims. He is a Fellow in the American College of Coverage Counsel, a Certified Litigation Management Professional, and has been named to the list of Best Lawyers in America. He is also a faculty member of CLM’s School of Extra-Contractual Claims, co-chair of its Extra-Contractual Committee, and serves on its Insurance Coverage Committee. In addition, he is on the Legislative Committee for the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers.
