Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Laura A. Greene, of counsel in the firm’s Springfield office, has been honored with a 2022 Litigation Practitioner Award, one of the Women’s Justice Awards sponsored by Missouri Lawyers Media.
An award-winning litigator and member of the firm’s Healthcare industry group, Greene helps clients operating in the highly regulated healthcare space navigate compliance matters. She creates policies, procedures and long-term strategies that mitigate risk and adapt to quickly changing state and federal laws. She also defends clients faced with audits, investigations or enforcement by regulatory agencies. Additionally, she has significant labor & employment experience, handling Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and state agency investigations, Title VII and Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) claims, and the design and defense of provider agreements.
Missouri Lawyers Media’s annual Women’s Justice Awards program celebrates women across Missouri who have demonstrated leadership, integrity, service, sacrifice and accomplishment in improving the quality of justice and exemplifying the highest ideals of the legal profession. The Litigation Practitioner Award is given to litigators who “have made their careers in the courtroom — criminal or civil, representing plaintiff or defense.” This year’s WJA recipients will be honored at a May 12, 2022 event at the Four Seasons Hotel in St. Louis.
