The Legal 500 US Recognizes Shook’s Excellence in E-Discovery, Product Liability and Cyber Law

The Legal 500 U.S. once again recognized Shook as a top-ranked litigation firm, with accolades for the firm’s Data and Discovery Strategies (E-Discovery), Product Liability, and Privacy and Data Security (Cyber Law) Practices and attorneys.

For a second year, Shook’s Data and Discovery Strategies Practice Group (eDiscovery) achieved top status, with a repeat recognition of Co-Chair Patrick Oot named as a “Leading Lawyer.”

Shook received a prestigious Tier 2 ranking in four Product Liability, Mass Tort and Class Action Defense categories: Automotive/Transport, Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, Consumer Products (including Tobacco), and Toxic Tort. Shook Co-Chair of the Environmental and Toxic Tort Litigation Practice Group David Erickson was named to the “Hall of Fame,” as was Shook Partner Kenneth Reilly, in the Consumer Products (including Tobacco) category—recognitions both received last year.

Shook was also recognized in Cyber Law (including Data Privacy and Data Protection), rising to Tier 3, with Shook Chair of the Privacy and Data Security Practice Al Saikali recognized for the first time as a “Leading Lawyer.”
