Armstrong Teasdale has been recognised among the GRR 100, a prestigious list of top law firms that carry out insolvency and restructuring work with an international dimension.

The list is compiled annually by Global Restructuring Review, a daily news and analysis service on cross-border restructuring and insolvency law.

The GRR 100 guide includes 153 law firms from 38 jurisdictions that are considered as global leaders for cross-border restructuring and insolvency work.

“We have seen a steady uptick in bankruptcies over the past year and expect this to continue in 2023 at an increased pace,” said Partner Erin Edelman, who leads the firm’s Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy practice. “Our team of more than 30 lawyers and staff professionals is experienced at handling some of the largest and most complex bankruptcies, insolvencies and restructurings internationally in recent years.”

“The firm has a well-established bankruptcy practice in the U.S., and since my joining in 2021, we have had the opportunity to build off of that, which has been exciting,” said Partner Imran Aslam, head of the firm’s Insolvency and Restructuring practice in the U.K. “Our cross-border experience is extensive and we enjoy coming up with practical ideas and engineering potential deals to benefit our clients across a wide variety of financial challenges.”

The firm has received an abundance of positive feedback from our clients and peers as it relates to the annual guide, including one who said the firm was “extremely committed, practical and responsive to problems with creative solutions.”

Armstrong Teasdale’s dedicated Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy practice has appeared and practiced in virtually every federal jurisdiction in the U.S. as well as the U.K., and have been chosen to represent debtors, creditors and creditors’ committees in some of the largest and most complex bankruptcies and restructurings. Our team has experience working on a wide range of domestic and cross-border matters including advisory, transactional and contentious work with a particular focus on the automotive, food, manufacturing, financial services, real estate, oil and gas, and retail and leisure sectors.
