A Missouri-first 501(c)4 prefers My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell over California Attorney Harmeet Dhillon to replace Ronna McDaniel as the next Republican National Committee (RNC) Chair.

“Harmeet Dhillon abandoned the Kari Lake case,” said Byron Keelin, president of the Freedom Principle MO. “She dives into some of these lawsuits to take the headlines and when the going gets tough a little bit, she gets out because she doesn't want her name associated with potentially losing a case.”

Lake unsuccessfully sought to be elected governor of Arizona and sued over alleged election impropriety. The case was dismissed and is now on appeal.

Lindell is funding Lake's election integrity litigation.

Certain factions of the conservative movement have been calling on the state’s GOP to take a stand against McDaniel, who is the current RNC Chair whom they allege has engaged in wasteful spending.

As previously reported, a 2022 spending report released by Redstate.com showed that McDaniel has misused $2.4 million in donor contributions on $500,000 private jet trips, a $64,000 clothing alliance, and $321,000 for floral arrangements.

“Mike Lindell is the only candidate in the running who has put his reputation, his time, his money, and his business on the line for the citizens of the United States,” Keelin told the St. Louis Record.

The Freedom Principle MO polled its members about their preference for the next RNC Chair, and more than 63% chose Lindell over Dhillon.

“She's not as conservative as I believe Lindell is when it comes to America First policies,” Keelin said.

In 2020, Mike Lindell founded Cause of America, which is a non-partisan election integrity non-profit focused on supporting grassroots action to restore trust in local elections.

“It is through this organization that Mr. Lindell has built a strong connection with the grassroots leaders across this country,” Keelin added. “It is precisely why he would be the best person to lead the RNC.”

In the event Lindell is not elected, it will lead to disenfranchisement between the RNC and grassroots conservatives, according to Keelin.

“It would just be another instance where the elitist or the establishment are not listening to what the grassroots want and, therefore, it's all donor-driven and not issue-driven,” he said. “We're looking for someone who is focused on issues, not dollars.”

But if Lindell were to win the RNC chairmanship, Keelin predicts that hundreds of thousands of Cause of America grassroots activists would help the RNC with 2024 'Get Out the Vote' efforts.

"If Ronna McDaniel wins, none of those people will probably work to help the RNC," he added. "They will work for the candidate of their choice, but they're not going to donate money or their time and that is going to lead to more establishment candidates, and that's going to cause people to stay home from voting."
