Greensfelder is pleased to announce that Lauren Surdyke has been chosen to participate in the 2023 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellows Program and Brianna Lockridge will participate in LCLD’s Pathfinder Program. Surdyke is an associate in Greensfelder’s Trusts & Estates practice group, and Lockridge is an associate in the Litigation practice group. Lockridge also participated in the LCLD 1L Scholars Program in 2017 while she was a summer associate at Greensfelder.

Since 2010, Greensfelder has been a member of LCLD, a national group that includes managing partners of law firms and general counsel from major corporations. LCLD’s goals are to promote diversity and inclusion in the legal profession and foster leadership skills, and its Fellows Program aims to identify, train and advance the next generation of leaders.

As this year’s fellow, Surdyke will join a select group of mid-career attorneys from diverse backgrounds who have been recognized for their potential as leaders in their organizations. The program offers a yearlong, in-depth experience that provides opportunities for relationship-building and leadership training while enhancing participants’ commitment to fostering diversity in the legal profession.

The LCLD Pathfinder Program assists early-career attorneys with critical career development strategies including leadership and the building of professional networks. Participants typically have three to seven years of experience and will develop an understanding of career development strategies and foundational leadership skills.
