Armstrong Teasdale has elected five new members to its Executive Committee and two members to its Compensation Committee, effective June 1, 2023.

Those elected to serve on Armstrong Teasdale’s Executive Committee, which functions as the governing board of the firm, include Partner Aubyn Krulish for a one-year term, and Partners Richard Brophy, Maureen Bryan, Joseph Hipskind, Jr. and Martin Walsh for a three-year term.

Partner Carrie Love was newly elected to the firm’s Compensation Committee, and Partner Jeff Schultz was re-elected. The Compensation Committee is responsible for the allocation of compensation to firm equity partners, and both individuals will serve three-year terms.

“The firm’s equity partnership has placed trust in those elected based on their outstanding legal skills, commitment to client service and demonstrated leadership abilities,” said Managing Partner Patrick Rasche. “I’m confident they will serve the firm well in their respective capacities.”

Krulish, managing attorney of the firm's Denver office, is a member of the Corporate Services practice group who provides counsel on an extensive range of business issues to clients of all sizes from large publicly traded companies to emerging companies and startups. She primarily focuses on mergers and acquisitions, strategic business transactions, financing and restructuring.

Brophy has a proven track record of trying and winning complex intellectual property cases across the United States. He has earned a particular reputation for winning cases by dismantling opposing expert witnesses in deposition and on the stand. His practice encompasses many areas of complex civil litigation, but he focuses primarily on disputes involving patents, trademarks, copyrights and antitrust violations.

Bryan leads the firm’s Health Care and Life Sciences industry team, and is in part responsible for many of Missouri’s top ranking defense verdicts. As a member of the firm’s award-winning Mass Tort and Catastrophic Loss practice area, she defends clients in litigation alleging catastrophic injuries as a result of medical malpractice, products liability and premises liability. In addition, she represents clients in matters involving breach of protected health information.

Hipskind counsels clients on a wide range of corporate and franchise matters and real estate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, commercial and residential development, leasing and commercial finance. He has extensive experience representing franchisees, retailers, homebuilders, auto dealers, commercial tenants and sports facility owners across the U.S.

Walsh concentrates his practice on advising a broad range of business clients, helping them secure value in new opportunities while alleviating risk. He has extensive transactional experience representing clients throughout the U.S. and internationally, and takes great pride in obtaining a thorough understanding of each transaction’s underlying business, tax and economic arrangements.

Love is a litigator primarily serving clients in the health care and life sciences industry, including some of the country’s largest pharmaceutical and medical device companies. She also has experience serving on secondment as Chief U.S. Compliance Officer for a pharmaceutical client. Love has helped corporate and individual clients win or favorably resolve cases involving federal and state enforcement agencies, and private plaintiffs.

Schultz is an experienced business litigator and trial lawyer who has extensive knowledge about the field of data security and privacy. This background led him to be named leader of the firm’s Data Innovation, Security and Privacy practice area and co-chair of the Noncompete and Trade Secrets practice area. Further, Schultz is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in the U.S. (CIPP/US).
