St. Louis partner Larry Katzenstein is the 2023 recipient of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) Hartman Axley Lifetime Service Award. The award honors those who have been highly active in the estate planning community and crucial to the development of NAEPC. The award was presented November 14 at the 60th Annual NAEPC Advanced Estate Planning Strategies Conference in Fort Lauderdale.

Larry serves clients in the firm's Private Client Services practice. He is a nationally recognized authority on estate planning and charitable giving and is an advisor to charitable organizations locally and nationally. He is a frequent speaker around the country to professional groups, including American Law Institute estate planning programs and other national tax institutes. He is active as a board member and as general counsel to several local charities and also serves on the board and rates committee of the American Council on Gift Annuities. 

NAEPC is a national organization of professional estate planners and affiliated local estate planning councils dedicated to the cultivation of excellence in estate planning. NAEPC fosters the multi-disciplinary approach to estate planning by serving estate planning councils and their credentialed members and delivering exceptional resources and unsurpassed education.
