A Washington state man says the herbicide Roundup caused him to develop cancer.
Joseph Dawson filed his lawsuit in federal court against Monsanto Company.
In the complaint, Dawson alleges the company's herbicide product Roundup caused him to develop Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
According to the complaint, Roundup and its active ingredient glyphosate are "defective, dangerous to human health" and were sold without proper warnings about their potential dangers. Dawson also claims his injuries were avoidable and similar to those suffered by thousands of other victims across the country.
The defendant is a Delaware corporation with a principal place of business in St. Louis.
