Armstrong Teasdale announces the addition of Counsel Alexander (Xander) G. Curl and Associates John (Jack) C. Butz and Katherine B. Krukowski.

Curl (St. Louis) joins the firm’s Financial and Real Estate Services practice group and counsels clients on a variety of issues with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. He conducts document review related to due diligence inquiries, drafting of corporate resolutions, reviewing and advising on transactional documents and related agreements. He also assists on a variety of other matters including restructuring and financing arrangements. With experience in a wide range of civil law matters, civil litigation and legal research, Curl is skilled in negotiations, case preparation and client advocacy, and routinely drafts and reviews documents, including contracts, motions and complaints.

Butz (Chicago) is a litigator with substantial experience representing clients in complex commercial transactions; white-collar investigations; intellectual property disputes, including trade secrets and breach of contract claims; and consumer class actions. His experience includes prior roles at the New York office of a British multinational firm and an internship with the Homicide Task Force in the Cook County Public Defender’s office.

Krukowski (Denver) represents clients in complex commercial and civil matters nationwide. Her experience encompasses disputes in commercial litigation, including complex contract and commercial torts; real estate; employment litigation; and advising higher education institutions. She provides counsel through all stages of litigation, including developing case strategy, engaging in discovery, participating in evidentiary hearings, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, participating in alternative dispute resolution, and preparing for trial.
