A Georgia man has filed a potential class action against a mechanical contractor alleging violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Ryan Archer is the named plaintiff in the complaint filed in federal court against Robinson Mechanical Contractors Inc.

According to the complaint, Archer and others similarly situated were not paid for the time they spent traveling to and from jobsites that required an overnight stay. This, the complaint claims, resulted in the company not paying them for all their overtime compensation, which is a violation of the FLSA.

Archer and the potential class seek compensatory damages.
