Shook Partner Michelle Fujimoto and Associate Torrey Peterson will be speaking at the 2024 DRI Drug and Medical Device Seminar to be held in Washington, D.C., May 20-22.
Both attorneys will be presenting on Wednesday, May 22. Fujimoto presents as part of a three-person panel in “Artificial Intelligence (AI): The Future is Now,” at 9:10 a.m. ET. Fujimoto will discuss strategies for solving business challenges that occur with using AI and machine learning in regards to FDA regulation of medical devices. Later in the day, Shook Product Liability Litigation Associate Torrey Peterson will be on the two-person panel, “Trial Tips for Young Lawyers,” at 3:40 p.m. ET. Her discussion will provide “tips and tricks” for new lawyers navigating serving on a trial team. DRI is the largest international membership organization of attorneys defending the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation.
