Thompson Coburn partners Bob Wallace, Jr. and Mark Sableman have been named to the Missouri Lawyers Media Sports and Entertainment 2024 Power list. Attorneys on this list are recognized as being among the most accomplished sports and entertainment attorneys in Missouri.
Bob is currently on leave from Thompson Coburn while serving as the interim president of Explore St. Louis. At the firm, he leads the firm’s sports law group, representing teams, prospective team buyers and companies interested in sports marketing and civic and government entities facing team relocation or facility issues. He also assists players, coaches and executives with contract-related issues, and he serves as an NFL-approved hearing officer for violations of the league’s drug and conduct policies. Bob is the former executive vice president and general counsel of the then-St. Louis Rams, which have since moved to Los Angeles.
Mark's practice focuses on facilitating clients' communications, in media, marketing and business. He helps news media clients gather and publish news, business clients build their brands, and fight infringement and false advertising. He helps all clients protect and use information technology and conduct business in the online world. In legal terms, he concentrates in intellectual property, media and information technology law.
