For the second time this month, World Intellectual Property Review (WIPR) has recognized Shook for its IP prowess. WIPR has named Shook “Recommended” in the contentious category as part of its USA Trademarks Rankings 2024. Shook’s Intellectual Property Practice is led by Partners Cory Fisher, Mike Gross and Trent Webb. The WIPR rankings showcase the leading law firms and lawyers in the field of trademark law in the United States.
Shook Partner Clint Newton was ranked as “Highly Recommended” in the non-contentious category for his trademark work. Newton’s practice has involved all aspects of intellectual property law, including the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications; litigation in patent, trademark and copyright matters; conducting validity and infringement studies; and the drafting of various licensing agreements.
WIPR also recently recognized Shook for its acumen in handling client trade secret issues. The WIPR Insights’ rankings research process involved analyzing market data, reviewing submissions, and interviewing partners and clients.
