The Missouri Bar Board of Governors, comprised of Missouri lawyers elected by their peers to represent their respective geographical areas, will convene Friday, March 7, in Jefferson City.
In addition to hearing financial summaries and reports from officers, board members will review The Missouri Bar strategic direction and hear updates from the Members Services and Resources Committee regarding potential additions to the list of available resources to help lawyers in their practice: the American Bar Association Retirement Funds Program and Smokeball Bill.
The board will also learn about legislative developments; receive updates from the Complaint Resolution Program Committee, Appointments Committee, and Missouri Lawyers’ Assistance Program; and hear about ongoing activities of the Young Lawyers’ Section Council.
