ST. LOUIS — A St. Charles County woman is suing a bank, citing alleged age, disability and gender discrimination.
Lorene Ross filed a complaint in St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court against US Bank National Association; Scott Rodeman; Kent Lemon; and Traci Luckhaupt, alleging that the defendants violated the Missouri Human Rights Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in January 2015, the plaintiff was promoted to assistant vice president of the processing department and earned a Gold Award in recognition of her high achievement as a US Bank employee. In July 2016, the plaintiff expressed her health concerns and schedule two days of sick leave to consult with her physician. On July 27, 2016, the plaintiff met with the defendants for her mid-year review, which said she had poor performance and led to her employment termination of Aug. 4, 2016.
The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to participate in a meaningful attempt to enter into an interactive process to attempt to accommodate plaintiff actual or perceived disability.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for lost income, benefits, and prejudgment interest, compensatory and punitive damages, attorneys' fees, costs and for such other relief the court deems just and proper. She is represented by Paul W. Lore in St. Louis.
