Motorist accused of negligence

Car accident 13

ST. LOUIS — A motorist is suing Thomas Reeves, another motorist, for alleged negligence.

Scott Addison filed a complaint in the St. Louis 22nd Judicial Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant failed to exercise reasonable care to protect other motorists on the road.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he sustained injuries to his shoulder, left foot and leg lower back and neck in a vehicular accident on Oct. 15, 2010. He claims to have suffered pain, medical expenses and emotional distress. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly making a reckless, sudden left turn at full speed without keeping a careful lookout.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in excess of $25,000 and any other relief the court may deem just. He is represented by Kyle Kleefus of Law Offices of Derald L. Gab PC in St. Louis.
